How I came to Eastern North Carolina:
I was in the USMC where I spent most of my 4 years
stationed at Cherry Point as an Air Traffic Controller!
I earned a BS in physical Education from East Carolina
University in 1992!
A Masters degree in education with an emphasis
in Adapted Physical Education 1n 1993; also, from East Carolina.
I worked for one year as a PE teacher at Bangert Elementary!
I worked in Durham, NC for 4 years as an adapted Physical Educator!
I have been the physical educator here at TPE since the 1998-99 school year!!!
If you are one of my former students and you have a child at Trent Park please let me know so that I can correctly label your child as one of my grandchildren!!!!
How I have been blessed by Trent Park Elementary:
I have shared in the lives of thousands of wonderful children!
I have built many relationships with families of TPE children!
I have shared my working life with many outstanding staff
members from every area of the school. The people at Trent
Park constantly change but the commitment to affect positive
change in the lives of those who walk through the door remains.
Trent Park is a special place...
The Staff is extra-ordinary...
The Students and their families are unique...
We have been brought together in this special place
to make a difference...
a difference in each household; in our community; in our state;
in our country; and, in the world!
Here's to many more blessings!
